Kakadu National Park

Kakadu in one of the few places listed as World Heritage because of its wildlife and its Cultural traditions.  It is an amazing place and covers a large area.  It takes planning and a bit of time to really get the feel of the place into your consciousness.  From the world class wetlands to the amazing rock art galleries Kakadu is a place of intrigue and beauty.  From the 140 million year old escarpment down to the Floodplains, which are just 4-6 thousand years old, Kakadu is full of wonder.
